Our team

Managing Director Dr Philipp Stierand leads Speiseräume with an analytical eye and a political vision. He has been working in the field of local food policy for over 20 years as a spatial planner, author and consultant. At Speiseräume, he brings together urban planning, strategy and implementation.

Managing Director Dr Philipp Stierand leads Speiseräume with an analytical eye and a political vision. As part of the ‘Kantine Zukunft’ project, Nuria Grünewald assists with the evaluation and analysis of the project and helps to design and run kitchen workshops. In her studies in urban geography, Nuria focuses, amongst other things, on issues of (food) justice and inequality, as well as their spatial contexts.
