Responsibility is on our menu.

Real-world projects that change how we eat, not just the what. We develop and run initiatives that turn good ideas into better food systems. Purpose-driven, impact-focused and grounded in practice. Our projects create lasting value for communities, kitchens and the people they serve. No moral aftertaste. Just practical change.

Food systems

Shaping better food systems. Together.

We help cities and municipalities put food on the agenda for local development. Working alongside local authorities and civil society, we co-create strategies, programmes and pilot projects that support sustainable communities, climate action and integrated urban development. We collect, develop and document new ideas and concepts to make food policy more accessible to more communities.

Urban development

Food and the City

We conduct practice-oriented research on sustainable food systems, focussing on urban development, climate action and consumer behaviour. We publish our findings to provide policymakers, researchers and practitioners with a solid evidence base for decision-making. We don’t just ask what’s possible. We ask what works.

Public and institutional food services

Empowering kitchens

We support institutional food-service providers, from nurseries to large-scale kitchens, on their journey towards more sustainable food provision. We develop training programmes for kitchen staff, support change processes and strengthen understanding of the environmental, social and health impacts of food-service systems.

Institutional food service is a powerful driver of change. It shapes everyday eating habits and can have a lasting impact on people, communities and the food system.
