On behalf of the State of Bremen, Speiseräume developed a comprehensive food strategy. The process was designed to be participatory and brought together representatives from the public sector, civil society, academia and the business community. Through a collaborative process, objectives and measures were established to ensure the long-term viability of public catering, to promote sustainable eating in the city’s neighbourhoods, and to strengthen the regional food and agriculture sectors.
